The patriotic education of youth is becoming increasingly important in the modern world. Its implementation is possible during foreign language practical classes involving students to participate in various events of the patriotic orientation in a foreign language and using modern information technologies.
With the formation of the Soviet State, the activities of state governing bodies to create a system of training citizens to defend the Motherland began. It was a complex, contradictory and dynamic process caused by the historical, political, economic and cultural development of society and the state. It was based on systematic, multifaceted, coordinated work with industrial and public organizations and local government bodies to form patriotic consciousness among young people and readiness for the armed defense of their country. The activity of state bodies and public organizations to prepare the population for the defense of the Fatherland remains one of the most pressing problems of historical science.
The article discusses the regional aspects of the mass defense activities of local government bodies to work with pre-conscripts in the interwar period. The study of this topic allows us to understand their work more deeply and objectively show the influence of various forms and methods of such work on the preparation of mass defense reserves.
This article discusses the features of the organization of patriotic education in the system of vocational education, the forms of its implementation. It tells about the system of patriotic-oriented classes, which can be introduced into the educational process of a vocational education institution. The modern educational system is becoming the main so-cial institution for the development of patriotic education of young people. The directions in the structure of patriotic education are: military-patriotic, spiritual and moral, historical and local lore, socio-political and physical.
Patriotic education is of particular importance for the modern education system, therefore, new methods and means of achieving this goal are being sought. One of the solutions may be the use of cognitive routes. The text of the article describes the main pedagogical conditions that will help to successfully design cognitive routes. As an example, the development "My city, my pride – Krasnoturinsk" is presented. This educational route can also be adapted for other localities.
The history of the Cossacks occupies a significant place in the political, military, social and economic history of Russia. Cossack troops significantly contributed to the unification of representatives of various ethnic, social and religious groups, turning them into unified socio-cultural communities.
Cossacks were an important component of the army and took part in various military operations, contributing to the victories of the Russian army. The problem of civic and patriotic education is relevant, the article proposes a model based on the use of the cultural and historical heritage of the country. Special attention is paid to patriotic education, since a Cossack is not a Cossack who does not know the history of his Homeland and does not love it.
