The article reveals the cultural, historical and pedagogical reasons for the emergence of a new form of teacher training in female gymnasiums in the period under study – an additional peda-gogical class; the structure, content, forms, methods of training are analyzed. The importance of pedagogical classes for the social status of girls, the assertion of a position independent of men in society is shown. The possibility of using the valuable experience of these classes in the activities of modern specialized pedagogical classes is shown.

This article discusses a study on the formation of digital competence in students of pedagogical classes of the Nam Pedagogical College through computer graphics. The criteria for assessing digital competence are based on the criteria derived by Soldatova G.U. The developed program for additional education in computer graphics and the results of a pedagogical experiment, which showed positive results, are described.

The article deals with the problem of developing motivation of school leavers for teaching professions. The author considers professional probation as one of the effective tools for the development of students’ motivation in the teaching classroom. The main emphasis is placed on presenting the school’s experience in organizing a professional probation within the “kindergarten-school” interaction for acquiring the primary skills of a kindergarten teacher.
