The article analyzes the linguistic means of the German and English languages, namely: words and phrases, including frequently repeated ones, evaluative vocabulary, proverbs and sayings, elements of word-making used by famous personalities in their interviews to form an idea of their inner world, peculiarities of thinking, life attitudes, principles, attitude to issues of ethics and morality.

The article deals with the problem of gender characteristics of the manifestation of leadership in adolescence. Adolescence is the most favorable period for the development of leadership qualities in a per-son, an ideal moment for his inclusion in joint activities with teachers and parents. Leadership among boys and girls is specific in terms of the style of communication and response in situations, the level of sociability, the perception of environmental conditions, and normative attitudes.

It turns out that our hobbies are not an accident, but a reflection of the innate features of the nervous system, which psychologists call temperament. Different types of temperament (sanguine, choleric, phlegmatic, melancholic) affect what a person likes to do in his free time: some need thrills, others need calm and order, and others need communication or solitude. The article shows that by the interests of a person, you can understand a lot about his psychology without difficult tests – it is enough to carefully observe what he is fond of.
