In article features of hobbies of modern youth on the example of the researches relating to this problem and based on studying of social networks are considered.

The relevance of the problem under study is determined by the need to raise the social prestige of a family, fatherhood and motherhood; to preserve and revive traditional family values. The aim of this work is to determine the pedagogical conditions that effectively influence the formation of ideas about family hobbies in the process of project activity among senior preschool children. The leading methods for researching the problem are theoretical analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature and a pedagogical experiment. The main results of the article: the authors reveal the ideas about family hobbies among senior preschoolers; characterize the project activity as a means of forming ideas about family hobbies among senior preschool children; present the project «Family Hobbies» and conclude about its effectiveness.

This article explains why people choose certain hobbies. It turns out that our hobbies are not an accident, but a reflection of the innate features of the nervous system, which psychologists call temperament. Different types of temperament (sanguine, choleric, phlegmatic, melancholic) affect what a person likes to do in his free time: some need thrills, others need calm and order, and others need communication or solitude. The article shows that by the interests of a person, you can understand a lot about his psychology without difficult tests – it is enough to carefully observe what he is fond of.
