The article reveals the factors and areas of activity for the management of professional development of teachers in the process of creating a unified federal system of scientific and methodological support of pedagogical and managerial personnel in the field of education. The author actualizes the regional model of scientific and methodological support and mentoring developed in the Ryazan region, positively characterizes the results of its implementation. A cycle of managerial activity is proposed, which is in demand in the conditions of scientific and methodological support and organization of mentoring in the professional development of teachers.
