The article is devoted to the problem of the orientation of speech strategies and tactics of academic eloquence in a fire-technical university. Differences in the features of the teacher's speech behavior are associated with the actualization of the phenomenon of practice and the tendency to professionalize narratives presented in the educational space, which is found both in the titles of articles on non-core disciplines and in teaching situations implementing the speech tactics of an example.
