Aims and objectives of the studying elements of nanotechnology by schoolchildren

The authors discuss the feasibility of studying one of the areas of modern technologies by schoolchildren. The basic terms of nanotechnology, historical facts of a new field of science and technology, the main content of the curriculum of supplementary educational program are presented in the article.
