Fragments of constructional climatology, viewed as the issues forming microclimate of the premises and providing for the conditions of daily life activities comfortable for people are considered. This approach taken within the frames of the course «Molecular Physics» may promote more respectable attitude of the students of Civil Engineering Faculty to Physics as a school subject.
This paper presents the results of geocryological monitoring in the ice-rich section of the Tommot – Nizhny Bestyakh Railway where innovative permafrost protection techniques were used. Quantitative assessment of changes in the thermal state of soils in and below the embankments of different designs with thermosyphons and insulation is provided.
The results of long-term geothermal investigations in disturbed landscapes along the railway, water line and gas pipeline are presented. Human-induced changes in the ground thermal state are analyzed. The study has shown significant increases in mean annual temperature of the upper permafrost layers, as well as in seasonal thaw depth in the inter-alas type of terrain after the removal of trees, ground surface stripping and post-fire clearing. Quantitative estimates are given for the dynamics of mean annual ground temperatures on cuts and burns in relation to vegetation succession.
The article is devoted to determining the influence of low and high ambient temperatures on the functioning of a photovoltaic installation with graphical interpretations and regularities. A method for determining the electric power efficiency of a photovoltaic installation is applied for a wide range of ambient temperatures with graphical interpretations. Regularities for determining the average statistical indicators of the decrease and increase in the electric power efficiency of a photovoltaic are used. The control parameters of the change in the value of the generating power of a photovoltaic installation in the temperature range from -60 0С to +60 0С are obtained, which can be used in modeling operational processes and engineering calculations of the operating modes of solar power plants.
