The article analyzes the processes of formation of economic ethics. The article analyzes the factors that shape business ethics in terms of socio-economic transformation. The peculiarities of religious consciousness of the Russian merchants and manufacturers of the Xxx century. The marked characteristic differences of the business ethics of Russian and Western European entrepreneurs.
