An urgent task in the production of polymer composite materials is to increase the elastic-strength properties by adding various modifiers, using various polymer matrices and formulations, changing reinforcing fillers and combining them. The last method is the most interesting. As the literature analysis of modern scientific works has shown, with this method there is a synergistic effect of increasing the strength of the material and reliability under various types of load. This paper presents the comparative results of tensile and bending tests on original hybrid, pure, and modified basalt, glass, and carbon plastics. The combination of basalt and glass fibers with carbon fiber, which has high rigidity, made it possible to increase the tensile strength to 9,5% and 9,3%, respectively, and to 39,5% and 2,6%, respectively, for bending.
The results of the elastic-strength properties of PCM, orderly reinforced with basalt-carbon fabrics, exposed for 12 months in an open polygon in a sharply continental climate for the impact of natural climatic factors on the basis of the Center for Collective Use of the Federal Research Center of the Yakutsk Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Yakutsk, are presented.
