The paper deals with the problem of forming universal learning skills while teaching reading in a foreign-language. The author analyzes research in the sphere of theory of universal learning skills, their classification and various points of view on this issue and analyzes sources connected with teaching techniques used in reading foreign-language texts.

In this article, we discuss how to use an interactive whiteboard effectively at the lesson of English. The problem of communicative situations is under the author’s consideration. We present a plan of the real lesson as an example of interactive whiteboard usage.

This article focuses on the linguistic-cultural aspect of the working programs in German language. The article presents examples of creating learning situations in German language lessons contributing to the development of sociocultural skills. The authors made a conclusion about advisable use of the linguistic-cultural aspect in the lessons of German.
