The author describes the Christian-religious approach to understanding the problems of obtaining and stor-ing knowledge. In addition, the author provides the brief analysis of the ideas of Descartes and S.L.Frank. The main idea of this paper is that, in the Christian religion, the knowledge of a person is bestowed by God. Singling out the Christian-religious approach to other approaches, we reveal one of the many important as-pects of this problem.

The author reveals the issues of effective organization of students independent work in conditions of reali-zation the basic educational programs of magistracy, where the role of independent work is greatly in-creased. The independent work of a student is seen not as self-education of the individual on his own, but as systematic, controlled by the teacher activity of a student.
