In article justification of need of the organization of psychological support of career, both in the advanced school age, and at students stage is given. The main accent in work is made on such structural component of career as career orientations. This component makes a basis of the career purposes and plans which in the subsequent are realized in the course of an independent labor way. The urgency of support of a choice of «career anchors» proves to be true results of empirical research of dynamic and substantial features of career orientations at youthful age. Following the results of diagnostics the comparative analysis of features of a choice of the priority directions in career at a stage of youth is carried out and the explanation of the revealed divergences on three groups is offered: senior school students, first-year students, students graduates. In conclusion of work the description of the directions of the organization of psychological support of an adequate choice of career orientations is provided by young men and girls

The author examines the socio-economic conditions for the effective development of labor youth employ-ment that allows for a comprehensive approach to solving the problem of providing human resources in the region. Presents all sectors of the economy of the Samara region, where the author examines the issue of timely response to changes in the quality and quantity of labour resources.
The article is devoted to the study of the problem of professional training and retraining of unemployed citizens as an element of active employment policy. The authors consider professional training as an effective way to increase the competitiveness of employment service clients in a dynamically changing labor market, highlight its strengths and weaknesses in the organizational aspect, and note the possibility of using new formats in a pandemic situation. Analysis of statistics on the provision of vocational training and retraining services, as well as a survey of former unemployed clients of the employment service showed the demand for this service as one of the most effective in terms of employment. However, the results of the study also showed insufficient use of the potential of professional education for the career development of individuals.
