The author considers the basic economic problems of health protection in the Krasnodar region. The author describes actuality of effective financial support organization, peculiarities of reformation processes of domestic health protection system. The authors evaluate the modern conditions and problems of agro-industrial complex of the Krasnodar region. The authors determine the strategy of development of the complex, based on the implementation of the economic mechanism for sustainable development. According to the authors, the mechanism should include two interconnected blocks: the system of state regulation and support sustainable development and the mechanism of market-competitive self-organization of the reproduction on all levels of the complex. The result of implementation of the strategy will increase the efficiency of functioning of the regional agro-industrial complex, food and social security of the Krasnodar region and the country as a whole.
