The paper deals with the role of the innovation component in road building development. The problems of implementing innovations in construction and the legal framework are considered. The author describes the state of innovative development in road building industry in the Russian Federation, as well as the innovative technologies, used by "Mostotrest".

The article is devoted to the issues related to the evaluative indicators, methods and analysis of the enterprise. The classification of efficiency indicators for different groups is performed. The liquidity ratios, profitability, business activity are considered. In the second part of the article "MOSTOTREST" enterprise activity assessment indicators are being calculated.

The article deals with different approaches to the definition of "cost price" from the primitive society to the present days. The evolution of the concept of "cost price" in Russian legislation is presented.
