The paper is devoted to optimization of chemistry training results at modern school according to Federal State Educational Standard by means of integration of natural-science and humanitarian knowledge. In particular the accent is put on updating of base concepts, optimization of chemical maintenance, formation of natural-science picture of nature as an element of a modern picture of the world and mastering unified educational actions by schoolchildren during chemistry course.

The article continues to discuss issues of common optimization of chemical education raised in the previous issue of the journal, through the use of integrated cognitive tasks in teaching students of chemistry. It presents some examples of these tasks with the comments and decisions.

Formulation and solution of current and new problems arise from the leading ideas, reflected in the documents of UNESCO National Education initiative "Our new school" and a new generation of standards that define the quality of general education as the level of social maturity of pupils, sufficient for autonomy, competence and autonomy in various spheres of life
