The article analyses the essence of the terms "quality of education", "quality higher education". Problems of improving the quality of professional training of future teachers of preschool education in the University in accordance with current regulations. The main conditions providing the quality of the education according to The New Federational Standart are the following ones: respect to the personality of a child, encouraging his self reliance and individuality and creating psychologically comfortable surroundings.

The article is devoted to the problem of the formation of the subject position of future preschool teachers in the course of training at the higher educational institution. The most important means of formation are both the special forms of studies and the commitment of the educational process in the higher educational institution on the independent work of students and the increase of its efficiency.
