The article discusses the method of polytechnic content material use in the study of school physics course. An invented competition game for high school students is an example of such methods. The presented work will be useful to physics teachers in the context of organizing a concluding lesson after having studied the laws of kinematics and dynamics, and may also be used for extracurricular activities.

The article discusses the possibilities of using experimental tasks in the process of teaching physics, gives examples of experimental tasks that may be used in the process of teaching physics, in particular, in laboratory classes in general physics at the university. The problem of solving tasks is given much attention in the university course of general physics. It serves as a means of forming physical concepts, developing thinking, will and initiative of students, allows for a better understanding and remembering the basic laws of physics, and improves the ability to apply general theoretical patterns to individual specific cases. One of the ways to carry out the connection between theory and practice in teaching natural science subjects is to solve experimental tasks, in particular, in laboratory classes.

The use of excerpts from literary works promotes the development of cognitive interest, thinking, worldview, gives the opportunity to show the beauty of literature, poetry, not only on humanitarian subjects, but also in learning physics. The article offers an overview of excerpts from M.Y. Lermontov’s works, in which physical phenomena are described. These excerpts may be used in lessons of physics, literature, in the implementation of interdisciplinary connections.
ART 186043
The article presents a variant of using the tasks with practice-oriented content in conducting extracurricular activities in physics. It is proposed to work out extra-curricular activities for grades 9-11 using practice-oriented tasks.
ART 170078
The paper reviews the fragments from G. Ch. Andersen's fairy tales describing physical phenomena. These fragments can be used on classes of physics and literature for inter-subject communications.
