The article describes the relevance of the study of speech development in children with autism spectrum disorders. The main variants of speech development of children with autism spectrum disorders are analyzed on the basis of analysis of domestic and foreign literature.
The article analyzes the role of applied behavior analysis (ABA) technology and its methods in correcting the behavior of children with autism spectrum disorders. The author reveals the essence of the ABA technology, defines its distinctive features and capabilities.
The article is devoted to the problem of studying the self-esteem of children with autism spectrum disorder in primary school age, the features of the selection of methods and the interpretation of the results obtained. It characterizes the term autism spectrum disorder and highlights the dependence of the self-esteem of a younger student on the depth of his autism. Recommendations for corrective work are also given.
