This article presents the results of the study "Innovative forms of vocational guidance work in higher education institutions." We describe the results of the survey of students of the 1 course of the University of Orenburg on the need to introduce innovative forms of vocational guidance work in the University, as well as systematize the main aspects of the use of forms and methods of organization of self-government of the student in the educational environment of the University.
