This article discusses the problem of low level of financial literacy of the population. Carried out a sociolog-ical study to identify the level of financial literacy among social groups in Rostov region. After analyzing the data, the authors have developed a method of increasing the level of financial literacy of the population that will be able to expand the methods and techniques of improving financial literacy in the state programmes and strategies.
This article is devoted to the problem of updating economic knowledge in preparing students for entering economic fields. The article presents the concept of "financial literacy" as the main quality required by an applicant for an economic profile. The experience of career guidance on the formation of financial literacy of students is presented.
The article presents a fragment of the methodological development «Formation of mathematical and financial literacy in mathematics lessons in grades 5-11». The development is devoted to the consideration of the issue of applying the practice of the system of tasks on mathematical and financial literacy in mathematics lessons. The methodological development is intended for mathematics teachers and students of grades 5-11.
