The article deals with the organization of volunteer assistance in the framework of the activities of the institutions of the VOS. The main attention is paid to the problem of identifying areas, forms of implementation of the technology of interaction "volunteer – visually impaired", as well as the domestic experience of charitable activities of care institutions for people with visual disabilities.
The article considers the beginning of the World War I (1914–1918) in the Tobolsk province. Based on the materials of the newspaper «Tobolsk Provincial vedomosti», the author analyzes the events inside the Tobolsk province that were cause by the outbreak of the World War I. The options for helping the army from the local population have identified. The measures of protection of the province by the Government are considered. This study will allow us to pay attention to the problem of the relationship between the state and the people during the war, the problem of mobilization, charity of the population in favor of participants in hostilities.
This article examines the social and personal significance of volunteerism, as well as its motivation among adolescents. Existing research on similar topics is reviewed to correlate findings and reflect on the results, as well as the historical experience of volunteer and charitable practices. The research methodology utilized interviews with volunteers from among the members of the Council of the First of the Smolensk Region.
