Banks form an important part of the money turnover. Active operations bring profit to banks and maintain their liquidity. Banks have significant influence and have huge monetary capital, which comes to them from the state, firms, companies and individuals. The attracted funds become the basis for conducting active operations.
Liberalization of monetary and credit relations marked the problem of maintaining the level of economic standards for the banking sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in accordance with the requirements of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (Basel-3) and the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The article considers the priority tasks of the banking sector of the republic aimed at maintaining stability and stable development.

The current conditions for the development of the banking sector make it a fundamental role for commercial banks in accumulating and attracting funds, as well as in their rational placement. This article is devoted to deposit policy making by modern commercial banks. It presents an analysis of the prospects for raising funds in deposits in the current economic conditions, as well as numerous related issues.
The article discusses the essence of capitalization of commercial banks in the context of strengthening privatization processes in the banking sector, especially state-owned banks, and attracting foreign capital to these processes. As a result, as a result of these processes, a modern banking system must be created that meets international standards of sustainability and reliability, risk management, corporate governance, strategic planning, ensuring the efficient functioning of the economy and the consumer market.
