This article is devoted to the study of metaphors in pop culture. Metaphors have long attracted the attention of linguists. The metaphor is widely used and studied in scientific literature as a linguistic unit, but as a unit of metaphorical spoken language it is little studied. The appeal of various sciences to the problem of metaphors shows the complexity of the nature of this phenomenon. The distinction between language metaphor and speech metaphor is emphasized. Different approaches to the study of metaphors illustrate the diversity and complexity of their analysis in linguistics. The metaphor, working in the form of a dialogue in English, is divided into productive thematic groups. The specific language material shows the variety of functions of the spoken metaphor.

This paper discusses stable expressions - phraseological units that make our speech more vivid, imaginative and expressive, as well as give it a certain emotional coloring. When learning any language, it is very important to know the phraseology. The article contains a comparative analysis of phraseological units in the Russian and German languages with identified similarities and differences.
This work contains knowledge about the mythology of the Yakut and Nogai peoples. A comparative analysis of the mythological images of the Sakha and Nogai people is given. The purpose of this work is to highlight common features in the tales and traditions of these peoples. In the course of the work, the myths of the Sakha and Nogai people were studied, images and language were compared. Knowledge of the native culture, as well as the culture of the people living on the territory of the Republic of Sakha(Yakutia) is a priority in the policy of the Republic. The main result of the research work was materials for lectures, quizzes, extracurricular activities, in order to familiarize with the mythology of various peoples.
