The paper discusses the results of the study of gender characteristics of mental states of anxiety, frustration, aggressiveness, rigidity and their impact on the formation of social, psychological and emotional activity of adaptability of young personality. Significant factors for the efficient adaptability of the young boys are anxiety and aggression, of young girls – anxiety and rigidity.
The article characterizes the aggressive behavior of the younger generation and the ways to prevent it, defines the role of adults (teachers and parents) in the prevention of aggressive behavior in schoolchildren. In the framework of the study, the authors describe the activities implemented in one of the secondary schools, the analysis of the work carried out.
