Ethnographic realities, which form the basis of the national image of the world, were not previously the object of cultural-historical and semantic analysis in the writer's novel work. The textual analysis of the novel made it possible to identify the concepts of the Even culture, to trace their semantic content in the literary text through an appeal to the ethnography and folklore of the Evens.
