The article raises problems related to scenarios for the future of the humanities. Attention is paid to the role of cultural studies, as well as to the practices of cultural institutions responsible for the quality development of free time by a person. The place and role of digital humanities in the system of sciences, the cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary development of modern science, which is strengthening in the historical and cultural per-spective, as well as the mission of humanitarian training of specialists, which determines the system of values and meanings that the society of the coming future is constructing, are considered.
The word countries interconnect each other actively, as well in the culture field. The youth from all over the world get the opportunity to participate in international forums and festivals, thanks to which stereotypes about cultures and peoples are being destroyed. In this article the author highlights the stages of the formation of stereotypes on Russia and the image of the Russian Federation, which was described by representatives of Latin American countries been participants of the World Youth Festival 2024 in Sochi.
The article considers the problems and challenges a foreign language teacher faces due to specific characteristics of teaching a foreign language and foreign culture: balance between communicative and non-communicative tasks, focus on accuracy or fluency, drill exercises or gamification, creating the authentic language surroundings or using the mother tongue. The motives inspiring the teacher in choosing techniques and approaches to teaching and a good reason behind the accepted solution depending on the goals of teaching are discussed.
Нhe article presents practical experience in solving problems of intercultural communication in a multinational school (MBOU Secondary School No. 10, Yerik settlement), where 83% of students are representatives of various ethnic groups and practice Islam. Using specific examples (gender-related authority of teachers, conflict over school uniforms, language barriers), the author analyzes key challenges in the interaction between students, parents, and teachers. Effective ways to overcome them are described, including dialogue, legal awareness-building, involving parents in school management, and adapting the educational process using the "dialogue of cultures" methodology. The article will be useful for teachers and administrators of educational institutions working in a multicultural environment.
