The world is transforming into a digital environment, because of which people gain the freedom to communicate, share values and knowledge in a society without any borders. The virtual world has become a space for social interaction, but there is a blurring of social norms in communication, so there is an increasing need for the dynamic formation of «digital culture and etiquette».
The article discusses the use of a means of automating the organization's communication activities in the context of digital communication. The problems of integration of interactive workflow systems, electronic document management and customer relationship management are analyzed.
The article raises problems related to scenarios for the future of the humanities. Attention is paid to the role of cultural studies, as well as to the practices of cultural institutions responsible for the quality development of free time by a person. The place and role of digital humanities in the system of sciences, the cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary development of modern science, which is strengthening in the historical and cultural per-spective, as well as the mission of humanitarian training of specialists, which determines the system of values and meanings that the society of the coming future is constructing, are considered.
