The article considers the emotional aspect problems of university students professional motivation. It is proved, that the emotion experienced in the profession acquired by students, is an independent phenomenon that could influence professional motivation of university students. In particular, the emotions, representing a phenomenon of pre-conscious motivation can determine certain aspects of the perceived professional motivation of students.
The article investigates the problems of motivation for learning a foreign language; intrinsic and external motivation. The features of foreign language teaching in non-linguistic universities and the problems faced by foreign language teachers are analyzed. The author describes the factors influencing motivation in details and enumerates different methodical techniques and strategies for increasing the students’ interest
