The article considers an example of an extracurricular computer science lesson developed and tested in the framework of the discipline "Theory and Methodology of teaching Computer Science", built in the form of a quiz game. The lesson is based on game and heuristic learning technologies, and its tasks use such heuristic methods as the method of hypotheses, the method of introducing additional data.

In preschool children, speech delay is often observed. What is the reason for the speech delay? Parents usually get advice – talk more with your child. Observations have shown that the level of speech development is directly dependent on the degree of formation of fine finger movements. The attitude of hands to humanity has always been special. Hands produced fire, food, they protected and built a home. It is no accident that in the Russian language many expressions are associated with hands: «Master of all trades», «Golden hands», «Hand on heart», «As a hand removed». Therefore, training the movement of the fingers and the entire hand is the most important factor that stimulates the child's speech development.

This work highlights the theoretical aspects of the use of game learning situations in the process of forming self-service skills in children of younger preschool age. Game methods and techniques, which include game-based learning situations, make it possible to solve educational tasks more effectively, as they cause increased interest in children, activating their cognitive interest, concentration of attention, and help to quickly assimilate relevant knowledge, skills and abilities.
