The article examines the dominant features of V. Ya. Wulf’s idiostyle, which distinguish the semantic-stylistic and pragmatic-evaluative content of his reviews and critical works. Research attention to the features of V. Ya. Wulf’s idiostyle allows understanding the dominant features and characteristics of the author's linguistic worldview.

The article is devoted to the study of linguistic means of shaping an author’s idiostyle, based on the short story “In Autumn” by Ivan Bunin. The theoretical framework of the research relies on the works of N.S. Bolotnova, M.N. Kozhina, T.V. Matveeva, V.V. Ledeneva, and N.A. Fateeva, according to which idiostyle is considered as a system of individual authorial linguistic and textual characteristics. The analysis of complex sentences with temporal relations is viewed as one of the key means of idiostyle explication. The study identifies specific features of the syntactic organization of the text, including the interaction of aoristic and imperfective verbal forms, the use of temporal markers, and the structural patterns of compound sentences. Bunin’s syntactic constructions are shown to implement a model of the spatio-temporal continuum, within which events and states are in dynamic interaction.
