The article analyzes the current state of affairs, examines the causes of the problem and suggests ways to solve it using the 1C: Lesson portal.

The article considers the method of mental mapping as an innovative approach to teaching foreign languages, which promotes effective acquisition of knowledge and development of critical thinking in students.
