The article is devoted to the specifics of the implementation of STEM learning in solving practice-oriented tasks in school mathematics. The basic principles of an interdisciplinary approach are considered, as well as the importance of integrating natural sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics for a comprehensive perception of reality. Special attention is paid to students' motivation, development of their creativity and ability to solve non-standard tasks. The article highlights the importance of project activities and the active inclusion of modern technologies in the educational process.
The paper discusses some aspects of applying STEM technologies in the study of natural science subjects at colleges (SPO institutions). Examples of using case studies and projects during classes are presented.
