The article deals with the problem of gender characteristics of the manifestation of leadership in adolescence. Adolescence is the most favorable period for the development of leadership qualities in a per-son, an ideal moment for his inclusion in joint activities with teachers and parents. Leadership among boys and girls is specific in terms of the style of communication and response in situations, the level of sociability, the perception of environmental conditions, and normative attitudes.
The article is devoted to the study of the influence of sports activities on the development of leadership skills in adolescents. As part of the study, the author conducted a diagnosis of psychological personality qualities necessary for a leader and manifested in adolescents engaged in various sports, analyzed the results of a diagnostic study, on the basis of which practical recommendations were formulated for the de-velopment of leadership qualities in adolescents involved in sports.

In this article, based on the analysis of scientific literature, the most significant personal qualities of a modern teenager that determine his leadership position among peers, as well as key characteristics (personality traits, behavioural patterns and cognitive abilities), which in organic unity can make up a psychological portrait of a modern teenage leader, were identified.
The article discusses the issues of destructive leadership based on the study of the perception of leadership traits by employees of Russian organizations. Leadership is defined as the ability to influence a group in order to achieve common goals. Special attention is paid to the comparison of constructive and destructive leadership: constructive leadership is characterized by respect for subordinates and a focus on the goals of the organization, while destructive leadership is characterized by personal interests, aggression, and disregard for the team. The study was conducted using the original questionnaire «Analysis of Destructive Leadership,» which was developed to assess the manifestations of destructive leadership types based on the psychoanalytic approach and the typology of personality accentuations. Based on a survey of employees in large enterprises (N = 178), a significant difference was found in the expression of destructive traits between effective and ineffective leaders. The results show that weak managers have more pronounced destructive traits, particularly narcissism, manipulation, and psychopathy, while effective leaders exhibit significantly less destructive behavior. This study highlights the importance of diagnosing and developing constructive leadership qualities to foster a healthy organizational culture and improve management practices.
