The paper deals with the results of an empirical research on formation of professional and valuable orientations of teachers with the different seniority. The use of statistical criteria gave the authentically significant distinctions of the values of relations, knowledge, qualities and abilities of teachers, and in the created type of professional and valuable orientations of representatives of the selection.

The paper discusses the differences in the indicators of emotional intelligence in nurses of an oncologic center with different work experience. The topic is relevant in connection with an increase in the incidence of the disease among population and an increase in the psychological and emotional load on nurses. The purpose of the work is to study the characteristics of the emotional intelligence of oncology dispensary nurses with different work experience. The results of the study demonstrate differences in the scales of “General emotional intelligence”, “Interpersonal emotional intelligence”, “Inner personal emotional intelligence”, which indicates the difference in understanding and controlling not only their emotions, but also the emotions of patients.
