The article is devoted to the development of fourth-graders ' ability to participate in discussions with their peers on literary works. During the joint activity of the teacher and students of the fourth grade, a discussion on a literary work is held, which includes children in the discussion and evaluation of the events and activities of literary heroes. The discussion is directed in such a way that moral norms and rules of behavior are not communicated to students, but are learned by them in the process of joint discussion. This discussion is relevant to use in the educational process in fourth-grade lessons with peers on literary works.
The article represents the results of the study of the influence of American comic book culture on the manga genre. The author reveals the main stages in the development of both genres. Various works of these genres, obvious links between the two genres under discussion are viewed within the context of their interaction. In conclusion, the author summarizes the data and gives his assessment of the influence of comic book culture on the manga genre.
In the article, the author reveals the mechanism of developing the imagination of younger schoolchildren with the help of creative activity in the lessons of literary reading and art by self-illustrating literary works at different stages of primary education. The age features in the creative activity of children of primary school age are indicated. The rules and principles of the organization of creative activity of students are given.
