The article is devoted to the techniques of psychological self-regulation for the correction of psychophysiological state that lead to optimization of mental and physical functions of the teacher.
The authors of the article put forward a hypothesis that systematic meditation practices of mindfulness contributes to the development of emotional intelligence components of psychology students. There was carried out a theoretical analysis of scientific research on the topic to confirm the hypothesis. Also, there was developed a model for the development of emotional intelligence in psychology students. The article presents the results of a pilot study and outlines its perspectives: the development of a program for enhancing emotional intelligence in psychology students, including meditation practices of mindfulness.
