The article is devoted to the study of the using of mythological and folklore images and motifs in computer role-playing games. The paper analyzes the plot structure of computer role-playing games and identifies motifs, which are common to mythological and folklore stories. Thereby, the author proves that computer games, along with other works of art, have aesthetic and cultural values. According to the author, the using of mythological and folklore images and motifs increases the artistic significance and value of computer games. The research materials were some of the most popular and iconic computer role-playing games in the world – «World of Warcraft» and «The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim».
The article considers the plein air as the most important means of educating the ability to empathize with nature, to see and understand the beauty of the landscape, to subtly and vividly feel its state, mood and character. Work in the open air brings up observation, forms an emotional-figurative vision, a careful attitude to nature, an understanding of its vulnerability, insecurity and beauty. The authors consider the plein air as one of the important means of moral and professional education of a teacher of fine arts.
