The article is devoted to assessing the role and influence of local authorities on the development of tourism in the Yantarny urban district. The activities of the authorities in implementing the policy of the constituent entity of the Federation in the field of tourism are described, key programs and activities aimed at stimulating the growth of key indicators of the tourism industry are highlighted. Successful practices and achieved results in attracting visitors, developing infrastructure and supporting cultural heritage are analyzed.

The article is devoted to the problems of the municipal level of agricultural management in the region. The study was conducted on the basis of an analysis of materials from scientists-economists who studied the economy of agriculture of the Nizhny Novgorod region and statistical data of the region on agricultural production. As a result, key challenges faced by agricultural management in municipalities have been articulated. The results indicate the need to concentrate on expanding their powers.
