The article considers an example of creating an educational application «Number System» using the C# programming language. The author describes the main components of the application and the principles of their development. The educational application provides the educational material necessary to study the topic of «Number systems», testing and a calculator. The relevance of the article is due to the active introduction of digitalization into the educational process.

The paper describes a methodology for using the educational app «Number Systems» to develop computational thinking in computer science classes (grades 7–11). The experiment confirmed its effectiveness: 96% of students mastered the theory, and 92% developed computational thinking. At the same time, the results are comparable to traditional teaching methods, which makes it possible to choose an approach based on learning conditions and student characteristics.
