The choice of a profession is an important stage in the life of every person. This issue is especially acute for people with disabilities. In order that a child with disabilities can be successful and competitive in life, it is necessary to form professional motivation at an early age through an effective system of pre-professional orientation. The article draws special attention to the problem of preparing a child with autism spectrum disorder and his family to choose a professional activity.The authors note the importance of work mindset, as well as a positive attitude towards it.
The article considers motives as factors of professional self-determination of high school students, their place in the structure of personality socialization, presents the results of a survey of high school students of the Zavodoukovsky city district on the choice of profession, motives for choosing a profession and professional self-determination.
Author highlights the necessity of a carrier guidance for schoolchildren. It is vital to start it at primary school, making the importance of a foreign language vivid. The educational set “Forward” is a good example of a course that provided the actual information in accordance to the needs of the modern profes-sional society.
Having entered a secondary vocational educational institution, a first-year student is faced with completely new ways of organizing the educational process: on the one hand, high intensity of studying educational material, on the other hand, insufficient independ-ent work skills. In addition, the student is faced with new types of activities (mastering a profession, educational practice, industrial practice), and a new team of study groups. In this regard, the concept of “adaptation” can be clearly defined as the process of students adapting to new living conditions, a new social situation. For all freshmen, the process of adapting to the conditions of studying in college is associated with certain difficulties. At the Yakut Industrial Pedagogical College named after V.M. Chlenov, regular events were held to study the degree of adaptation of first-year students. Based on the results of these studies, a plan for further work of the college’s socio-psychological service was approved.
This text examines the importance of career guidance for schoolchildren, focusing on the importance of choosing the right profession and the potential consequences of mistakes in this process. According to surveys, many graduates of higher educational institutions do not work in their specialty, which leads to depression, burnout and dissatisfaction. Special attention is paid to the pilot's profession, which requires high qualifications and motivation, since the cost and com-plexity of training are very high. The text also emphasizes that career guidance should begin at an early age and include not only theoretical, but also practical training, for example, through pro-grams such as «Country Aviation» and «Youth Gliding School», which help students navigate the choice of an aviation-related profession and develop personal motivation. The main purpose of career guidance programs is to give students the opportunity to get acquainted with aviation professions, develop interest and skills for further professional self–realization. The text also highlights the effectiveness of such programs, based on the experience of the USSR and modern methods of training through flight training and practical exercises.
