The article discusses the features of preventing deviant behavior in children of primary school age. The article analyzes many factors influencing the formation of deviant behavior in children; the reasons for deviant behavior are indicated: biological, personal, social and family. The article identifies three main groups of deviant behavior: antisocial (delinquent behavior) behavior, asocial (immoral) behavior, self-destructive (self-destructive) behavior. Psychoprophylactic work can include measures at three levels: legal, medical and sanitary and pedagogical. The article discusses such forms of psychoprophylactic work as the organization of the social environment, information, active training in socially significant skills; organization of activities alternative to deviant behavior; organization of a healthy lifestyle; activation of personal resources; minimizing the negative consequences of deviant behavior.

The relevance of studying women’s self-destructive behavior is determined by its high occurrence and serious consequences for mental and physical health. The aim of the study was to identify psychological factors contributing to such behavior in women aged 18–30. The methods included the Deliberate Self-Harm Inventory (DSHI) and the BIQLI questionnaire, statistical analysis. The results showed that the most frequent forms of self-harm were cutting and scratching; a significant correlation was found between body image dissatisfaction, weight control concerns, and the frequency of self-destructive manifestations.
