The paper examines the provision of state grant support for social projects by the Presidential Grants Fund and the provision of social contracts for business development to low-income families with children. The statistics of grant receipts in recent years, as well as the results of the author's sociological research conducted in late 2021 and early 2022 are given. The social project "Your Business" is being considered in detail, aimed at advising and supporting families of applicants for social contracts and those who have already received them: the social significance of the project is considered, its description, goals and objectives, terms of implementation, target groups, project partners, project team, action plan, quantitative and qualitative indicators of implementation are given. The project manager is a public figure, entrepreneur, Candidate of Economic Sciences and member of the Board of the NGO "Union of Women of the Samara region" Makusheva Svetlana Vasilyevna.It is pointed out that the work on holding consultations in order to support citizens to obtain and successfully implement social contracts has been carried out in the Samara region for almost a year – since the spring of 2021. The project also assumes co-financing at the expense of sponsorship and partner funds in the amount of more than 9 percent of the total cost of the grant amount received.
The article considers social perceptions of well-being in various historical periods. The ideas of happiness of an individual and society in different countries are analyzed within the framework of a historical retrospective. The main theories about well-being that prevail in one or another period of time are given.
In recent decades, one can observe the popularity of the concept of well-being, which represents a full and satisfied life for the individual, a special kind of attitude towards oneself and the environment. Well-being is often associated with physical vitality, mental activity, social support and satisfaction, self-realization, both in personal and professional spheres. This is considered an alternative to a negative way of thinking, destructive defense mechanisms and an inappropriate lifestyle. Social well-being as an important part of well-being is related to our relationships with other people and our sense of security associated with the environment in which we live.
The article presents materials on the formation of social activity of students through the discipline «Physical Culture» to ensure social well-being. The data on the scales of social activity and the distribution of students by their levels are studied, the relationship of the integral quality of social activity with the complex of individual properties of students is considered and aspects of effective forms of social activity formation are established.
The article presents a study of social well-being based on the main indicators and goals of Russia's social policy. The relationship between well-being and life satisfaction, as well as the level of happiness, is given. The analysis of social well-being should include a multifactorial model based on tangible and intangible indicators. The author cites the indices of social well-being and the model of their calculation adopted in Russian practice.
