The article defines some functions of the modern family, which is going through a transitional stage from outdated behaviors and moral attitudes to more relevant ones, taking into account modern changes in society. Relationships within the family are also undergoing transformation, moving from traditional forms to new ones. Parents and the family as a whole are defined as a unique phenomenon that affects individuals and society in the context of ensuring the reproduction of the next generations.
