The article describes the requirements for training in the tourism sector, it stresses the need for targeted training of future professionals in the animation activities both recreational species is justified to demand the formation of experience of creative activity for leisure travelers as the professional competence, given the data of experimental work carried out.

The article deals with the most important problem of tourist activity associated with leveling the influence of seasonality on the formation of tourist flows. One of the ways to increase demand in the seasonality is the organization of event tourism. It is shown that the organization of event events provides an increase in the attractiveness of tourist destinations in the low season.
