The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of humanism phenomena and consumer civilization against the background of contemporary global problems comprehension. The core of the research interest is the evolution of humanistic ideas and principles in European philosophy from the Renaissance to existentialism, as well as their transformation under the conditions of the modern social and cultural situation. The authors of the article demonstrate a multidisciplinary approach to the problem under study, using for its solution methods of philosophical, linguo-cognitive and sociological analysis.
The paper is devoted to the speculations on the place and role of humanitarian subjects in the structure of economic education in Russia today. The authors of the article give consideration to the purpose and the specific character of building a set of common cultural competences of future economists with the help of humanitarian subjects. The data of the social research are given which allow to analyze the attitude of the students of Universities of Economics to humanities.
This article deals with such model of consumer behavior as irrational one and its option – addictive behavior. Addictive consumption is characterized by the desire to consume certain goods, which are believed to be the most essential in his value system. This type of consumption is common for alcoholics, drug addicts, gambling and shopping addicts. These forms of the additive consumption are the most dangerous ones for society and can lead to its degradation.
