Modern Russian society urgently needs professionals who are able to realize a rational analysis of emerging situations, build models of possible variants for the development of complex situations, denominate ways to overcome the crisis or mitigate its negative consequences. The concept of «happiness» in the linguistic picture of the world of different lan-guages (using the example of phraseological units of Russian, Yakut, English)

The study is devoted to the analysis of phraseological units representing the concept of «happiness» in Russian, Yakut and English. As a result of semantic analysis, it is concluded that the difference between phraseological units lies in a different set of images associated with national peculiarities of realities, and in this regard, many phraseological units have a different set of lexemes, but they are united by the meaning inherent in them, the logical form of their content is the same.
