The article discusses the main points concerning intercultural dialogue, using the example of "light talk" (or small talk), as well as common problems arising due to different understanding and perception of such a phenomenon.
Today, digital diplomacy plays an important role in the context of intercultural communication. New information technologies have led to changes in the diplomatic sphere. Digital diplomacy makes it possible to conduct foreign policy communications using digital tools and platforms. The article analyzes the advantages and limitations of digital diplomacy in the context of intercultural communication, including improving the availability of information, reducing barriers to communication and the possibility of creating global dialogues.
The article is devoted to an urgent problem in the field of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The work reflects the results of observing the national characteristics of foreign military personnel in the process of studying at a military university. The study reveals the concepts of “intercultural communica-tion” and “linguocultural studies” within the framework of the professional educational process of a higher military educational institution; The communicative component of the content of teaching a foreign language (Russian) in multinational groups is considered. Intercultural communication is presented as a process of communication between representatives of different cultures and languages, which allows students to use their national and cultural traditions, while simultaneously understanding another culture and social behavior.
