The paper presents the elements of teaching problems with parameters. The approach to the introduction of the concept «parameter» is discussed. The base of exercises, different types of problems and some heuristics are described.

This article is devoted to the development of speed abilities in schoolchildren aged 14–15 years in athletics lessons. Athletics is an integral part of the educational process of schoolchildren. Often, basic exercises are not enough to qualitatively develop speed abilities. That is why the author, after analyzing the scientific literature, proposed a methodology with a set of exercises that favorably affect the improvement of speed indica-tors. The conducted pedagogical experiment helped to prove the effectiveness of the pro-posed complex.

This study is aimed at developing dialogical speech among secondary school students by means of an action-based approach. The study is based on theoretical principles and relevant literature review. The set of exercises for engaging students in various speaking activities was created, including role-playing dialogues, picture-based scenarios, and interview simulations. The results of a set of exercises reveal the increase in the de-velopment of communication skills, student interest and motivation, and enhanced socia-bility. These findings present the educational potential of an activity-based approach in teaching dialogical speech, foster a conductive learning environment, and should be im-plemented in the modern educational landscape.
