The paper describes the features and functions of a modern additional education of children. The importance of socializing additional education function. It describes the problems that arise in the course of an additional education of children with difficulties in social adaptation. The analysis of empirical data obtained during the survey of subjects related to the implementation of additional education of children with difficulties in social adaptation.
The article outlines the theoretical foundations for the study of socio-psychological adaptation, presents and describes the results of a study of socio-psychological adaptation among first-year students of the Orenburg State Pedagogical University, recommendations are given for improving the socio-psychological adaptation of students.
The article is devoted to the organization of psychological assistance to first-year students living separately from their parents. Psychological help is determined by the difficulties that arise in students of this category. The article presents the results of a study of difficulties that are typical for students who previously lived in rural areas. The results of the study of typical difficulties that arise in nonresident students during the adaptation period are presented: difficulties associated with physiological and psychological discomfort, subjective and social relationships, difficulties in the academic field, as well as difficulties in organizing work. Based on the results obtained, comprehensive psychological assistance was offered aimed at overcoming the identified difficulties and developing the personality of students living separately from their parents.
